Fedics is seeking a permanent Supervisor to lead catering operations in Midrand, Gauteng. The role is critical for ensuring that high service, hygiene, and financial standards are met within a healthcare catering contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise employees, allocate duties, and ensure the daily efficiency of the catering unit.

  • Operational Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory, and provide daily costing data to financial controllers.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain strict compliance with hygiene and service standards, ensuring excellent presentation and client satisfaction.

  • Client Relations: Proactively identify client needs and resolve any operational complaints.

  • Administration: Assist with unit financial administration and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Matric certificate.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of supervisory experience AND previous/current experience in a healthcare environment (this is essential).

  • Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with computer literacy and cost awareness.

  • Advantage: Knowledge of Fedics Hygiene and Quality Standards.
